Terms and Conditions

1. Course Fees

1.1 - Bookings are only confirmed once we receive a deposit.
1.2 - The balance of the course fee is payable on the day of the activity.
1.3 - In the event that the course fee is not paid in full at the start of the activity, Mobile Adventure reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by the client.

2. Cancellation by Client

2.1 - Once notified of the cancellation, Mobile Adventure will try to resell the course place(s).
2.2 - In the event that we are able to re-sell the course place prior to the commencement date of the course, the client will receive a full refund less 20% of the course cost to cover administration fees.
2.3 - Refunds will only be made after the commencement date of the course.
2.4 - In the event that Mobile Adventure are unable to re-sell the course place prior to the course commencement date the client will be charged the following cancellation fees:
* Your deposit if the cancellation is made at least 14 days before the start date of the course unless Mobile Adventure can resell the place (see point 2.2).
* The full course fee if the cancellation is made less than 14 days before the course start date unless Mobile Adventure can resell the place (see point 2.2).
To cover this eventuality we recommend an insurance policy that includes cancellation or curtailment.

3. Cancellation by Mobile Adventure

3.1 - Although every attempt is made to ensure that courses run as scheduled, in the event that Mobile Adventure need to cancel a course due to unsuitable conditions or other unforeseen circumstances we will notify the client as soon as possible.
3.2 - Mobile Adventure will notify clients not less than five days prior to a course if a course needs to be cancelled because a workable minimum number of participants have not been reached.
3.3 - In the event of cancellation by Mobile Adventure, clients will be offered the following:
* Full refund of the course fee paid
or
* Another course on different dates.

4. Risks and Dangers

Whilst Mobile Adventure maintain the highest professional standards of client care and safety, clients must realise and understand that participation in adventurous activities entails some risk of injury or death. Mobile Adventure will at all times endeavour to minimise these risks through safe practices and procedures. However, these risks can never be entirely eliminated and participants accept that accidents and injury may occur.
Mobile Adventure is not under any liability whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property not caused by the negligence of Mobile Adventure or its representatives. When booking the course and signing the consent form, clients are accepting these risks and will be responsible for their own actions and involvement.

5. Insurance

Mobile Adventure holds full public liability insurance. However, clients are advised to seek their own personal and equipment insurance before commencing the course.

6. Programme Changes

Due to environmental constraints, unsuitable conditions, client ability and factors out of our control, Mobile Adventure reserve the right to amend, change or cancel programmes. This is to prevent placing clients or staff at an unacceptable risk level. Refunds for cancellations once a programme has started will be dealt with on an individual basis or covered under clause 3.3.
