Mountain Challenges

Many people have never been up a mountain before, and a single mountain challenge may be the perfect way to get into and appreciate the beauty of the UK. On one of our guided mountain days, we will introduce you to the quiet beauty of the UK's finest peaks. we will avoid the busy 'tourist' paths, and show you the hidden gems - for those feeling adventurous we may even include a little rock scrambling if the conditions are right! Whichever mountain you choose, you will finish your day tired, but more knowledgeable of the mountain environment and the skills required to become self-sufficient and safe in the hills.

Mountain Challenge too much..?

If you don't feel like taking on one of our set mountain challenges (and many people do want to enjoy a more leisurely walk!), then why not tackle just one mountain? They all have stunning routes up them (generally not the main 'tourist tracks' we must add!) and on a clear day will have amazing views from the top. Even if the weather isn't being kind, you will have the personal satisfaction of summiting one of the larger mountains in the UK. If you are not sure about your navigation skills no problem - we can either guide you up or run you a navigation training course.
