In contrast to the well known National Three Peaks Challenge (which we no longer run due to these reasons); our Lake District Mountain Challenge events provide a serious alternative where you can have a break away in the Lakes and tackle a major mountaineering challenge, without the enormous driving time & environmental cost of the National 3 Peaks.

We can also run tailored one day events, such as an ascent of England's highest mountain Scafell Pike, or the exciting Striding Edge on Helvellyn and help you choose the route most suited to your groups aims.

We believe that the best way to tackle the environmental issue is to reduce car / minibus use to a minimum and to adopt a small group policy. We limit group sizes on all of our mountain challenge events to a maximum of 8 clients per walking group.

The Lake District is easily accessible and is especially suited to groups who are coming from various locations with an excellent rail link at Penrith which is only 25 minutes drive from our base in Keswick in the Northern Lakes.
